Bang. Inquisitor Tristan shot the cultist in the head. “Now, that wasn’t so difficult was it?”

“You lied, filthy human,” Lucia the Daemonhost said to her Inquisitor jailor. “You did not show mercy as you promised.”

“My trigger finger slipped and you can’t prove that it didn’t. Now do you want to lick the brains of the floor or not? Time is ticking and I have a dinner date with a lovely Canoness and then I’m going to rescue my daughter.”

The daemonhost hungrily fell to the floor and lapped up the exploded grey matter.

Inquisitor Tristan nodded. “Yes, that’s disgusting.”
