Usually arriving via sanctified orbital drop-church, the Order of the Triumvirate is a more unusual militant Order of the Adepta Sororitas. It is led equally by three Canonesses leading a selection of highly
trained warriors. They have been sent to support imperium forces to fight Xenos
threats in the Pariah Nexus, supported by their own agenda of locating saintly relics.

The sounds of distant martyrs echoed throughout the church, bringing prayer and
solace to the desolate moon of Astraea. Three Canonesses stood around the
hologram of the moon, which identified the Xeno ruins as those belonging to Necrons.
Long since abandoned, however other parties were approaching the moon like vultures.

The Order of the Triumvirate were lost in the Pariah Nexus, although lost was a subjective
term. They were exactly where they needed to be and this was surely part of the trial and
suffering of their quest to reclaim ancient relics of the Ecclisiarchy from battles long past.

Recently, they had been contacted by Inquisitor Thaddeus Varn. He was making an
alliance, to seek and uncover the secrets of Nyx and her moons. Two Canoness votes to
one, the Order agreed to join this seeker alliance, as their ship needed to undertake
colossal repairs from their last encounter with the heretical Necrons. The Order had
also narrowed their search of relics down to the moons of Nyx.

The saintly relics were almost in sight.

The moon orbiting the planet Nyx was an unholy place, but consecration was not out
of the question and there was enough space for the Adepta Sororitas to land and purify
it. When they arrived, they saw the Inquisitor’s haphazard collection of allies,
including an Imperial Guard regiment, some Xeno machines of war and an almighty
Imperial Knight which towered over the base.

Canoness Marika ordered the orbital drop church to be dropped carefully (rather than
with pious fury) next to the base, so they could plan their next move. In the staging
area, Canoness Roxanne approached their welcome party, with her squad of Seraphim
behind her, trained, loyal and ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice.

“Greetings. I am Canoness Roxanne. The Order of the Triumvirate stands to serve this
alliance, on behalf of His eternal light,” the Canoness stated. “Although our priorities
belong to His will and light alone, we endeavour to serve the Imperium and protect those in need.”

Inquisitor Varn nodded, keen to see the sisters in action.

“Welcome Sister. Your Order’s arrival could not be more fortunate and your sisters of
battle will be a valuable asset to the Imperium. As such, I will ensure your Order’s
objectives and my priorities align. Time is of the essence, so follow my Acolyte who will
give you more intel. Praise be to the Emperor, Sister.”
“Praise be to the Emperor, Inquisitor,” Canoness Roxanne replied, still unsure of his motives.

Canoness Titania watched from the shadows of the church, disagreeing with this alliance.
Perhaps there were too many supposed leaders here with misplaced ambition and
not enough gumption and piety. She scratched her shoulders, an itch born from
faith she hoped, rather than a mark of corruption. No, her faith was strong and pure.

Next to the Drop Church, Sister Jeanne sat atop the order’s battle-worn tank, a
Castigator which had performed more miracles in the battlefield than possible, and
followed the groove of a scar that a bolter shell had left. She could feel a new battle
close-by like a calling, a trial of faith.
